Coppe, a pioneer in bringing the academy closer to society, established its Business Incubator in 1994. Its activities have already favored the introduction of about 100 innovative services and products to the market and the creation of more than 800 jobs. In 1995, Coppe created the Technological Incubator of Popular Cooperatives, which is responsible for graduating more than 100 cooperatives and creating more than 2,000 jobs, and its concept inspired institutions in other states and countries to repeat its success.
