3rd BRICS-RI Research Conference will be held in China
Fudan University, China, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China, will host the 3rd BRICS-RI Research Conference between September 25th to 27th. Among the participants, there will be professor Elton Fernandes, from Coppe/UFRJ’s Industrial Engineering Program (PEP) and his students. The event, which will be carried out in a hybrid format (online and in person), shall address the theme “Growth and sustainability of livelihoods in the BRICS countries: knowledge sharing in social justice, governance and multilateralism”.
The conference is a part of the BRICS 2.0 Project calendar, which includes Coppe professors Andrea Santos and Elton Fernandes. Promoted by South Africa’s National Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIHSS), the BRICS 2.0 Project has as its goal to stimulate academic cooperation, building a community of researchers that shall be able to mold the future of BRICS’ countries and contribute to global sustainable development.
