Our program, founded in 1979, has a strong interdisciplinary approach. Due to our strong integration with government agencies, companies, and civil society organizations, we educate professionals so that they are capable of meeting the diverse demands in people and cargo transport.

In addition to their qualification in the academic field and science and technology research, our students find work opportunities in transport management for public bodies and companies from the commercial and industrial sectors. We work in tandem with other Coppe programs in interdisciplinary fields such as environmental engineering, roadway engineering, and urban engineering.
