With Coppe/UFRJ’s support, the 2nd International Congress on Waste and Sanitation – CIRS Búzios 2025 – will be held from October 6th to 10th. The central theme will be “Resilient Systems for a Changing World.” Promoted by Masterplan Consulting and Environmental Engineering, the event will feature the participation of two Coppe professors, who will address solutions for obtaining environmental permits, authorizations and licenses, focusing on the main regulations in the sanitation sector.
The 2025 congress aims to discuss case studies, research and technologies, resulting in the development of a positive agenda for the sector, as well as debating topics related to the other sanitation segments.
