Acolhe Coppe
Acolhe Coppe is a center that offers both online and in-person psychosocial support to our community, contributing to individual and institutional well-being.
Psychosocial support is often stigmatized and has long been a necessity of the academic community. With the most recent pandemic and prolonged social isolation, there was a great change in how we organize our life as a whole, including when working and studying. This scenario caused an increased demand for psychosocial support that motivated the creation of the online modality that was promptly developed in July 2020.
The methodology we use consists of several interdisciplinary actions that enhance communication, ethics, rights, interpersonal relationships, and individual and collective well-being as essential conditions for the desirable transformation of reality. As such, we promote individual and collective activities as support tools: women’s ciranda, individual reception, support group, reception meetings, PICS (Integrative and Complementary Practices in Healthcare), courses and workshops, educational materials, among others.
