MOB 4.0 project begins testing phase of urban mobility applications

“Researchers from the Transport Engineering Program (COPPE) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) are in Campos and, alongside with the Municipal Institute of Traffic and Transport (IMTT) team, are testing applications developed within the MOB 4.0 project, funded by the Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support in the State of Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ) and executed by the Transport Engineering Program /COPPE -UFRJ. Through a partnership with IMTT, a Technical Cooperation Agreement was celebrated and Campos was chosen as the pilot city for MOB 4.0. The pilot city stage has been carried out in several phases, such as testing sensors to capture of holes and speed bumps, hosting hackathons, courses and events involving civil society” (Source: Campos 24 Horas)
